Organize Bookmarks in Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a free web browser that takes just minutes to install. It's available for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers

The way to access bookmarks is one of the first things a user will notice is a bit different than other browsers.it is quite simple to set up Google Chrome so that you can quickly and easily find the sites you are looking for on the internet.

Instructions
  1. Locate the "Customize and Control" menu. It's the icon that looks like a wrench, in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.
     
  2. Import your bookmarks from another browser by selecting "Import bookmarks and settings...from the "Customize and Control" menu.
     
  3. Select "Bookmark manager" from the "Customize and Control" menu. Alternatively, you can hit Ctrl-Shift-B to do the same thing.
     
  4. Use the bookmark toolbar to hold links to your most commonly used bookmarks. They will be visible whenever the bookmark toolbar is shown in Google Chrome.
     
  5. Create folders with names of categories. Think of general terms that many bookmarks could fit into. "Games", "Forums", "Music"... and sort your bookmarks into these folders. If you need to, create folders for subcategories as well.
     
  6. In the "Bookmarks Manager" click on "Organize" and select "Reorder By Title". It will alphabetize the selected folder or groups of folders. Repeat for each folder you wish alphabetized.
