Use RoboForm With a Google Browser

RoboForm is a password manager and form filler for Web browsers that contains integrated password backup and synchronization of passwords between computers. RoboForm generates secure passwords, encrypts your passwords and fills out Web forms from your stored personal information with a single click.

RoboForm supports Firefox, Internet Explorer and a variety of smart phones as well as the Google Chrome browser. RoboForm for Google Chrome comes in two versions, a standalone extension that appears as a single button on the Google browser's toolbar and a toolbar that requires RoboForm for Windows installed.

Instructions

1 Open the RoboForm Online extension pag.

2 Install the RoboForm extension by clicking the "Install" button on the webpage and clicking "Install" again when prompted.

3 Click the green "RoboForm" button at the top-right of the Google Chrome window, next to the address bar.

4 Login to RoboForm Online by typing your user name into the "User ID" box, typing your password into the "Password" box and clicking "Login".

5 Log in to a website by clicking the "RoboForm" button on the toolbar, clicking "Logins" and clicking the website name.

6 Generate a new, secure password by clicking the "RoboForm" button on the toolbar, clicking "Generate Password" and clicking "Generate".

RoboForm Toolbar

1 Install RoboForm for desktop if you don't already have it installed.

2 Install the RoboForm for Google Chrome adapter by opening the RoboForm for Google Chrome page, scrolling down and clicking "roboform-chrome.crx."

3 Show the RoboForm toolbar if it's hidden by right-clicking the "RoboForm" icon in the system tray and clicking "Show Toolbar." The RoboForm toolbar appears at the bottom of the Google Chrome window.

4 Log in to a website by clicking the "Logins" button on the toolbar at the bottom of the Google Chrome window and clicking the website name.

5 Generate a new, secure password by clicking the "Generate" button on the RoboForm toolbar and clicking "Generate".
