Delete Search History on Google Chrome


Google's streamlined and speedy browser Chrome offers strong integrated search and an intriguing alternative to Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Delete your search history in Google Chrome to protect your privacy and also to speed up Google Chrome. You will delete any search terms you have searched for and the addresses of any websites you have visited. 

To completely delete the search history from Google's Chrome, you will need to delete the search history directly from Google's Chrome browser and also the historical Web browsing data.

Instructions
  1. Open the "Tools" menu in Google Chrome by selecting the tools button.
     
  2. Click "History."
     
  3. Choose "Delete history from this day" and the day you want to delete the search history.
     
  4. Press "Clear History."
     
  5. Open the "Tools" menu again by selecting the tool button.
     
  6. Select "Under the Hood" option.
     
  7. Click "Clear browsing data" to open up a dialog with options of how to delete search history in Google Chrome.
     
  8. Verify that you want to delete the information that is checked from Google Chrome.
Press "Clear Browsing Data" to delete the search history on Google Chrome.
