Create Search Shortcut for Google Maps
Most modern Web browsers -- including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera -- feature a search box in the navigation toolbar to allow easy access to your search engines from within the browser interface. You can customize these search shortcuts to include search engines from a variety of websites, including Google Maps. In the case of Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, you need to browse the search engine provider's website to add Google Maps to your search box. With Opera, adding a search box can be done from the Google Maps website.
