Optimize your IE8 browser


If you are an Internet Explorer 8 user, you need to learn how to optimize it so that it can work in a better way to bring a perfect browsing experience.


This article is applicable to Windows Xp, Vista and Windows 7


To optimize your IE8 browser, follow these steps:
Go to "Tools" -> "Internet Options".


 
Under "Browsing history", click "Delete...”




Check the boxes labeled "Temporary Internet files" and "Cookies". (Other items can also be selected if you want). Then click "Delete".



Don't click "OK" for the moment.
Now click "Settings" which is also under the "Browsing history" of "Internet Options" window.



Under "Temporary Internet Files", select "Every time I visit to webpage" option.



Then set the disk space to use as 50MB.



Click "OK" to return to the "Internet Option" window.

Switch to the "Security" tab. Verify if the slider is set to "Medium-high."





If not, click on the "Default Level" button.

Click on "Apply" and then "OK" to close the window.

Switch to the "Security" tab. Click on “SSL state” and on OK.




Switch to the "Advanced" tab. Click on “Restore Advanced Settings”.




Click on "Reset" and on “OK’’. Restart the internet explorer once again. You will see the difference in performance while browsing.
