Enlarge Web Images in Firefox
Firefox lacks image-zoom support in its basic form. But enterprising developers have created a number of add-on alternatives. Most of them won't work on embedded images or open images in new tabs, but Yellow Gorilla's "Image Zoom" add-on enlarges images on any website.
Instructions
- Launch your Firefox browser and visit the Image Zoom page in the Add-on section of Mozilla's website.
- Click the "Add to Firefox" button. Confirm that you want to download the program by pressing the "Install" button in the dialog box that appears.
- Restart the browser when prompted. Image Zoom finishes installing and becomes fully functional after the restart.
- Right-click on the image you want to enlarge and select "Zoom Image." Select how you want to zoom in the image -- either increasing it by a percentage or selecting "Zoom In" repeatedly until the picture assumes the desired size.
- Right-click on the image again and choose from the "Zoom Image" options to change the image size further. Select the "100%" option to return the image to its original size.
