First Step to Fix Internet Explorer 8 Issues


If you are running  Internet Explorer 8, you might have noticed sometimes it freezes frequently, you must know that this is a problem that is not solely limited to this particular browser, You can easily fix these issues.


Disable Addons in Browser
Any operating system Windows XP or Windows 7  web browsers has some add-ons and plug-ins that automatically work with it, Even in Firefox addons also slow up the load time for the browser. These add-ons and plug-ins are providing you the features that you enjoy on this browser,
If you wish to see what all add-ons and plug-ins are working on your computer,

Trobleshooting:
  • Go to the 'Tools' menu.
  • Click on 'Add-ons' or 'Manage Add-ons'.
  • You will now be able to view and manage the entire list of add-ons that are functioning on your computer.
  • Disable Addons: Go to Start' menu, clicking on 'Run', typing 'iexplore.exe -extoff' and then press the Enter button.
If the browser works perfectly now, it means that there is a corrupted add-on present on your machine.
