Create a Shortcut to Troubleshoot Internet Connections
This article will show you, how to create a desktop shortcut to troubleshoot Internet connections. You also have an option to download a file from microsoft to do the same task.
Let's check how to create a manual shortcut on Windows 7.
1. First you need to create a shortcut on desktop, right click on a empty area on desktop, and click on New and Shortcut.
2. Type the location below into the location area, and click on the Next button.

3. Name the shortcut as Internet Connections Troubleshoot or any other name, and click on the Finish button.
4. Now right click on the shortcut on the Desktop and click on Properties.
5. Click on the Shortcut tab, then click on the Change Icon button.
6. In the line under "Look for icons in this file", type the location below and press Enter.

7. Select the Globe icon highlighted in blue above and click on OK. Now click on OK again.
