Update Safari

  1. Open up the Safari Web browser and go to Apple's main Web site.

  2. Click on the heading labeled Support.

  3. Click on the option 'Downloads' from the list of sub-headings.

  4. Type 'Safari' into the search box in the upper-right hand corner of the screen and press the 'Enter' button on your keyboard.

  5. Look through the search results for the latest Safari update and click on the link.

  6. Read through the list of system requirements to make sure you are running a compatible operating system.

  7. Download the latest Safari update by clicking on the blue download icon.

  8. Install the Safari update on your computer.
Check for Safari Updates

  1. Click on the Apple menu and choose 'Software Updates' from the pull down menu.
  2. Look through the list of available updates to see if any of them are for Safari.
