Install Quicktime in Firefox


Quicktime is made by Apple, but is available for Windows-based computers as well. Install Quicktime in Firefox so that you can enjoy Web sites that offer Quicktime-based content, such as movie trailers and other video content.

This article will help you to install Quicktime in Firefox.
Instructions

Download Quicktime to Your Computer.
  1. Open a new browser window using Firefox.
     
  2. Visit the Firefox plugins Web page
     
  3. Scroll down to the Quicktime box. Look for your operating system. Beneath each operating system, you'll see a link with a version number
     
  4. Click the version number available for your operating system. You will be taken to the Quicktime download page.
     
  5. Click the 'Free Download Now' button.
     
  6. Click 'Save File' in the 'Opening Quicktime installer' window.

  1. Locate the Quicktime download on your computer and double click the program. If you didn't change the default location, you'll find the installation icon on your desktop.
     
  2. Read the welcome message and click 'Next' to proceed.
     
  3. View the 'License Agreement' and click 'Yes' when you are finished.
     
  4. Click the 'Install' button to begin the installation.
     
  5. Click the 'Finish' button when the installation is completed.
