Fix the Logitech Marble Mouse in Firefox

The Logitech Marble Mouse features a large red tracking ball, so the mouse does not need a lot of space to move around. It also has been ergonomically designed, with both forward and backward buttons. However, sometimes the Logitech Marble Mouse has difficulty functioning in the Mozilla Firefox browser. The correct drivers may be needed, since this mouse is supported by SetPoint, a particular driver. You can either download the correct driver, or change the settings within the computer.

This article will help you to Fix the Logitech Marble Mouse in Firefox.
Instructions
  1. Install the Logitech Marble Mouse software, if you have not already done so. Right-click on the Logitech logo in your computer's system tray and click "Mouse and Keyboard Settings."

  2. Select the "My Mouse" tab. Then click on the "Forward" button in the "Select Button" menu.

  3. Select the radio button next to the "Keystroke Assignment" in the "Select Task" menu. In the "Specify Keystroke" field, click the mouse and a blinking cursor appears.

  4. Press the "ALT" key on your keyboard and hold down your right arrow key at the same time. Then click "Apply." The mouse will be set for the forward button.

  5. Return to the "My Mouse" tab, but this time select the "Backward" button in the "Select Button" menu. Select "Keystroke Assignment" in the "Select Task" menu, and click the mouse in the "Specify Keystroke" field. Press the "ALT" key on your keyboard, and hold down the left arrow key at the same time. Then click "Apply."

  6. Click "OK" to end the "SetPoint" software. Now, your forward and backward buttons on the Logitech Marble Mouse should be updated.
