How to install a webcam.

You will need two things to connect a webcam to a computer: the driver for the webcam and the physical connection from the webcam to the computer. Many webcams use USB 2.0 to connect to computers. The driver for the webcam needs to be installed before the webcam is installed in order for it to work properly. The driver is included on the installation disk that is bundled with the webcam package

Instructions
  •  Insert the installation disc into the disc drive of the computer. The setup program should automatically run, but if it does not, browse to "My Computer" (click on "Start", then "My Computer"), and double-click on the disc drive.

  • Follow the prompts to install the driver and included software.

  • Insert the USB cable that is connected to the webcam to an open USB port on the computer. The setup program should prompt the user when the webcam should be connected.

  • Follow the prompts to complete installation.
